How It Works

If a business, government office, or other source owes you money that you don’t collect, it's considered unclaimed or abandoned. These sources must send this money to state-run unclaimed property offices when they can't locate the owner. The unclaimed funds held by the state are often from bank accounts, insurance policies, or your state government, just to name a few.

Each state has unclaimed property in the form of uncashed checks, security deposits, overpayments, and more. You never know what you might learn and find! While it is free to search and find your unclaimed property for yourself, however, the process to search and recover unclaimed property takes time, patience, and experience to recover your unclaimed property. This could cost you or your company, especially if you can't afford to take time off because you have a very busy life or successful businesses to manage.

This is where Providence Private Investigation come into play. Private investigators have the experience, patience, time, and access to sources that can significantly increase the success rate of you (the client) recovering your unclaimed assets. Our services will allow your family and business assets to grow, while you focus on what's most important to you.

This asset recovery service is done for a commission fee or finder's fee. After required information and document submissions, the process may take approximately 4-8 weeks for asset recovery. All information obtained will be kept with confidentiality and professional filing. If you’re the matching and rightful owner, and once everything is approved by the official source holder, the asset (e.g. funds, property, etc.) will be mailed directly to rightful owner, not Providence. Then soon thereafter, Providence invoice client a commission fee of the percentage of the value of the recovered asset property.

On the other hand, if after Providence do a thorough research investigation and the client is not an rightful asset owner being held by official sources, you only pay for the research time. That's it!

NO UP FRONT FEE

There is no up front fee for this service. This is to protect the rightful property owner and assures the investigation company is complying with state laws.

Again, this process can be done for free by asset owners, however Providence Private Investigation and Paralegal Services is here to do the tedious research, discovery, and assist in the recover of unclaimed or abandoned assets, so our individual clients can continue focusing on their family, and business clients focus on running successful businesses or corporations.
